Introduce IPC wire-format appearance DTOs (PluginIsolation.Contracts) and clarify they are distinct from the runtime PluginSdk snapshot. Update PluginSdk comments to document the runtime-facing snapshot shape. Change ComponentColorSchemeHelper to use the HostMaterialColorProvider and add an overload that accepts a MaterialColorSnapshot. Add new services and pipelines (MaterialColorService, MaterialSurfaceService, WindowMaterialService, WallpaperColorPipeline) and refactor AppearanceThemeService to depend on MaterialColorService while removing legacy internal implementations. Add multiple unit tests (ComponentColorSchemeHelper, PluginAppearanceBoundary, SettingsCatalogService, WallpaperSettingsPageViewModel) and update localization resources with new material_color and wallpaper keys.

Replace UI DispatcherTimer polling with a StudySnapshotRenderGate across multiple widgets to queue and apply only the latest analytics snapshot; components updated include StudyDeductionReasonsWidget, StudyEnvironmentWidget, StudyInterruptDensityWidget, StudyNoiseCurveWidget. Add StudySnapshotRenderGate implementation to coordinate rendering and monitoring leases and update subscription/lease lifecycle handling (subscribe/unsubscribe, Acquire/Dispose leases, Clear/Dispose gate). Rewrite chart controls (StudyNoiseCurveChartControl and StudyNoiseDistributionScatterChartControl) to use stable logical-time origins, split series into static vs dynamic tails, add geometry/sample caching, stable jitter/coordinate mapping helpers, and expose internal helpers & counts for testing. Add unit tests (StudyComponentRenderingTests) covering the render gate and chart behaviors (layer counts, logical X mapping, stable jitter, cache rebuild). These changes improve rendering correctness and performance by avoiding redundant renders and enabling deterministic chart layout.

Add <Project> and <PropertyGroup> with <ManagePackageVersionsCentrally>true</ManagePackageVersionsCentrally> to Directory.Packages.props to enable centralized package version management across the repository. This allows package versions to be controlled from this single file instead of individual project files.

Replace TextBox.Watermark with PlaceholderText, convert NumberBox styles to FANumberBox and adjust templates, change Checked/Unchecked handlers to IsCheckedChanged, and adapt FluentIcons usages (SymbolIconSource -> FASymbol/FAFont/FluentIcon equivalents). Fix MainWindow partial classes to inherit Window and correct missing variables/fields/usings. Add migration docs/specs/tasks under .trae and include a small TestFluentIcons project for icon testing.

Upgrade project to the Avalonia 12 baseline and Plugin SDK v5: centralize Avalonia packages, remove legacy WebView.Avalonia usage (use NativeWebView/WebView2 EnvironmentRequested), and update Fluent/Material icon/package usages. Bump multiple package/project versions to 5.0.0 and Avalonia 12.0.1, update plugin template and README/docs to SDK v5, and add PLUGIN_SDK_V5_MIGRATION.md.
Also fix runtime/behavior bugs: make DataLocationResolver use a fixed bootstrap launcher data path and avoid recursive ResolveDataRoot; add legacy-state handling and extraction in OobeStateService; and update component settings tests to reflect migrated storage (DB/backup) and reset cache for test reloads. Various csproj, tests, and docs updated to reflect the migration and ensure build/test compatibility.

Replace and refine icon sources across settings pages and controls: many FAFontIconSource glyphs were updated to specific Seagull Fluent Icons codepoints, some FASymbolIconSource usages were replaced with FAFontIconSource, and a number of symbol-to-Symbol enum mappings were adjusted (e.g. "Bell" -> AlertOn, "Shield" -> ShieldLock). Also clarified a comment in SettingsWindow and fixed a trailing newline in StudySettingsPage. Changes standardize icon visuals and bridge FluentIcons glyphs into FluentAvalonia icon sources.

Introduce a new LanMountainDesktop.Shared.IPC project implementing a public IPC host and client (LanMountainDesktopIpcClient, PublicIpcHostService), IPC constants and routed notify IDs, DTOs and DI helpers for registering public services. Update Plugin SDK to allow plugins to contribute public IPC services and registrations, add related descriptors/records and extension helpers. Migrate Launcher/App to use the new public IPC for startup/loading notifications and wiring (including TryConnect helper), switch LoadingStateReporter to use the external notification publisher, and add host-side public services (app info, shell control, plugin catalog). Include integration tests and spec/checklist/docs for the external IPC public API.
